GL3232
Overview

GL3232 is an USB 3.1 Gen1 to SD 3.0 Single LUN Memory Card Reader Controller.

 

GL3232 supports various types of SD memory cards, such as Secure DigitalTM (SD), SDHC, miniSD and microSD (T-Flash). It supports high density memory cards (Capacity up to 2TB), such as SDXC, ultra high speed memory cards SD3.0 UHS-I. GL3232 also supports SANDISK EXTREME® 160 MB/s microSD UHS-I CARD.

 

The GL3232 integrates a high speed 8051 microprocessor and a high efficiency hardware engine for the best data transfer performance between USB and SD memory card interface. It supports ISP (In System Programming) for firmware upgrade from the external SPI Flash via USB port. It also integrates LDO, DC-DC and power MOSFETs which can reduce the system BOM cost and improve power efficiency.
